Attention Internet: I am fat.
Last week I joined Weight Watchers Online. In the past, I’d had lots of success with Weight Watchers and managed to lose 60 pounds. Unfortunately, I got cocky and thought I didn’t need to watch what I was eating anymore and gained 45 of those pounds back. Boo. Shame on me. The last time I lost weight, I was motivated and went to the gym with my best friend every day and attended the meetings.
This time, my best friend is knocked up so she is eating all the damn time and not giving a damn (good for her). This time, I have a gym in my apartment building so there is no inclement weather stopping me from going. This time, I’m doing WW online instead of meetings because, newsflash, I always hated the meetings. A bunch of old broads who I don’t really have anything in common with (other than being fat). I hate hearing fat people complain.
This past week didn’t go so great, honestly. If I could boil it down to one reason, it is because I wasn’t prepared. This week will be different though. I planned out the meals I’m going to eat, figured out what to have around to snack on and am right now making my grocery list to go out and get some food shopping done at my favorite pretentious grocery store, Wegmans.
Aside from Weight Watchers, I’m also reading the Biggest Loser 30-Day Jump Start book. I took a lot of my meal planning from the week one in that book. Planning ahead is the best weapon I have right now
